The Hellenic Seaways Highspeed fleet consists of three ferries - Highspeed 4, 5 and 6. The introduction of these vessels has offered a huge advancement and innovation for passenger travelling in the region, decreasing the crossing times by about 50% as well as increasing safety and the onboard experience.
Highspeed 4 built in Australia in 2000 has a passenger capacity of 1004 and can hold 188 vehicles in its garages. Highspeed 5 is the newest of the three ships, was built in 2005 and can accommodate 809 passengers and up to 154 vehicles. Highspeed 6 is the biggest of the fleet with a 968 passenger capacity and space for 260 vehicles and has previously operated as the Milenium with Trasmediterranea.
As these highspeed ships generally operate on shorter crossings, there are no cabin facilities available. Seating can be pre-booked and comes in a choice of Economy, Business and VIP class, depending on the service you are travelling on.
Please Note: Whilst we have taken great care in making our Highspeed guide as accurate as possible, onboard facilities, services and entertainment may vary depending on the date and time of year that you travel, facilities mentioned may change without notification and ferry companies reserve the right to operate vessels other than those mentioned at time of booking without prior notification.

"Ship Paros Santorini"
The boat was on time and the seats fine. But there was not enough place for the luggages, who were everywhere on the floor.

"Trip from Paros to Ios"
A really good experience, ship was on time, getting passengers on and off the ferry was achieved in minimum time possible and with efficiency, staff to be congratulated. Only downside someone was sitting in our seats and asked if they could stay there and could we sit in theirs, which is not really helpful especially when it meant my husband and I were separated but this seems to be a normal occurrence on ferries people do not sit in the seats allocated to them.

I have never used the Highspeed transport before, but would highly recommend it, comfortable, quick and it was nice to see that on board food and drink were very reasonably priced, two coffees €2.50

"Fast efficient journey"
We travelled in the standard class seats and found that these were fine. The ferry was very full, so we were glad that we pre booked the seats well in advance. Refreshments were available and reasonably priced, we only had a drink,as our journey only lasted 2 hours. Docking and getting off at Santorini is done very quickly and we were glad that we made our way down to the baggage hold as soon as it was announced that this was open. I would definitely use this ferry service again.

"Highspeed 5 - Crete to Ios"
My wife and I took the 3 hour crossing from Heraklion to iOS on Highspeed 5. We paid the little extra for VIP tickets - which made for a very comfortable journey - seats at tables of 4 seats (rather than the airplane style rows of seats), and more space/less noise than in economy. Well worth the extra in our view. Overall the crossing was great - fast, efficient and the staff in the seated area were very friendly.

"Paros to Mykonos"
On time, great clean cabin but only one very smelly loo for men? Also first class looked completely empty but lots of loos on that deck!? Id get rid of the class system and just open it all up at the same price.

"Very comfotable 3 hour-trip"
Good Seats and a quiet voyage from Mykonos to Heraklion. The ship arrived 20 minutes because of windy weather conditions, but all the travel was comfortable and quiet. Beyond we had leave late, we arrived almost on time to Heraklion. Recommendable.

"convenient for booking"
It is really convenient to book with direct ferries especially when moving between Greek islands, because from there the agencies can look at it, but they can't book all the companies, only a few from that island. Perhaps the system could be improved if you could book an itinerary that included combine different companies. E.

"time on the ferry"
The Ferry trip was Great really easy to get on the boat and voyage was hassel free, boat was really nice. Had a tuck shop to buy food and drinks reasonable prices. Pretty Great standard of vessel. Needs to be more clear when you book online you need to go to the ticket office to get different tickets printed off - Needs to be more clear seat number its tiny and lost amongst greek words. We booked for 4 people and when we got our tickets printed we for some reason were sat in 4 different seats even though the boat was no where capacity was very weird when you pay 50E you don't expect to get seated all over a half full boat away from your friends. All staff on the boat were friendly and staff down on ramps were very nice and fun. Sleep areas like bunks or reclining chairs for a price would be great.

The ferry was really late but it was a really windy day so I suppose it couldn't be helped. Was a realtively quick and easy jourbey from Mykonos to Santorini once on ferry.
