  • "Very good journey and service"

Arrived early expecting at least an hours wait but went straight onto earlier sailing. Signs at the port really clear, directions from staff polite and clear, staff on ferry very friendly. Definitely a nicer way to get to France than using the tunnel. Food expensive (very) but breakfast was tasty and able to eat it all.

  • "Visit to France "

Both ferries were very good but a larger range of food should be supplied and the cost of meals reduced.

  • "Good service."

We travelled in August when there were delays ans 'stacking' on the M20. Our booking was on Weds at noon, arrived early and were immediately offered an earlier ferry without a charge. Loading was efficient and quick and left on time. We were issued with a £20 voucher for food which we used and enjoyed our late breakfast

  • "Excellent"

The ship is all important. I was on the Spirit of Canterbury, where service was great, the ship was clean, quiet and smooth. My previous voyage was not so pleasant, in an older vessel. This is a much more enjoyable experience than the tunnel as you are not confined to your car for the transit. I have always rated P&O as the premium carrier, SNCF and the Belgian line were disgusting. Keep it up, P&O

  • "Recent ferry trip to Calais"

We very recently travelled Dover to Calais on the Pride of Burgundy. The journey was straightforward, no problems, no delays. We were expecting problems at Calais, but never saw any immigrants and were soon on our way. The boat was comfortable and would recommend paying a little extra for the club lounge...... free snacks, drinks and papers within a restful ambience.

  • "Car/Caravan tour of Europe via Dover Calais with P&O"

Overall both outward and inward journeys were fine especially since the outbound one had a road traffic hiatus with the removal of two WW2 UXB's Loading & unloading was speedy and ship was punctual. A very good experience altogether and this is the 10th return trip I have made and the second with P&O.

The staff was kind and concerned customer ( we arrived at the last minute of boarding time, and he kindly explained situation that we cannot take the ferry, and gave us other ticket to board the next ferry) It was convienient for us to go UK with car. We will use the ferry next time when we go UK again.

  • "Recent trip Dover to Calais"

Excellent service. Despite the ferry crisis having caused lots of delays and diversions to Dover, we got to the ferry before time, were offered an earlier sailing and all was very smooth. Would travel with P&O again.

  • "Good crossing"

Good crossing both ways. Calm sea, sunny weather so no problems. Outward journey on the newer ship Spirit of France was superb - very good facilities on board and a bright modern feel to the ship. Loading was very easy and we left Dover 10 mins early, arriving slightly early too. Inward crossing was on older ship Pride of Burgundy, but was still pretty good. Slight delay (15mins) on departure due to problems earlier in the day, but no real hardship. Onboard facilities not as modern as Spirit of France, but still OK. Again loading was easy and we had a good crossing in calm sea with sunshine.
