I went to France for a weekend recently and travelled by ferry P&O. This trip was quick, 1/12 , and sorting out the ferry online was easy. I enjoyed the whole experience and will certainly use them again

"Very good journey and service"
Arrived early expecting at least an hours wait but went straight onto earlier sailing. Signs at the port really clear, directions from staff polite and clear, staff on ferry very friendly. Definitely a nicer way to get to France than using the tunnel. Food expensive (very) but breakfast was tasty and able to eat it all.

"A refreshing break from driving to allow personal refuelling for the next leg!"
Outbound and In bound journey for our French holiday in the mediterranean was on time and comfortable - good choice of decent food too. On the return journey in particular, it provided just the right length of break from driving that I needed (compared to the tunnel) to be able to continue on to Yorkshire refreshed and refuelled. I'm always in awe at how quickly and professionally the staff load and unload the vehicles.

"P & O Service"
Have to compliment on the service for the Dover - Calais route. From registration at the port the service was swift, efficient and well organised. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Boarding and embarking was quick and easy. With all the delays at Eurotunnel the ferry proved to be the best option. Definitely recommend and will use again.

"Recent ferry trip to Calais"
We very recently travelled Dover to Calais on the Pride of Burgundy. The journey was straightforward, no problems, no delays. We were expecting problems at Calais, but never saw any immigrants and were soon on our way. The boat was comfortable and would recommend paying a little extra for the club lounge...... free snacks, drinks and papers within a restful ambience.

Just a quick one as everything went very well either end of the journey. The facilities were good and we enjoyed a breakfast both on our way to France and on the way back. Thank you.

"Dover Calais and back "
07/07/15 we sailed earlier than we thought from Dover and no problems, coming back on 24/07/15 there had been a problem earlier with only 1 berth being available for UK ships, again we left earlier that expected with no problems, i think the new access from the motorway from Calis to the car ferry worked well and we experienced no problems at all, i do feel however that it was more good luck than anything else. (The journey home to Nottingham was difficult the M20 double stacked and we felt so sorry for these lorry drivers) We will think again on what route we use in furture, and have used Caen and Le Havre in the past and will not go through Calais again until the propblem is solved

Had a good trip both ways - can't remember names of ferries. Clean, efficient. I had to return to car to collect my purse, was escorted down without any fuss. Very friendly staff. Did not use for meals so cannot say how they were.

"Very pleasant experience on board!"
Boarding arrangements & facilities on board were great! A little hiccup with the disabled access situation which required us to park next to the ship's lift, even though we mentioned this to 2 different P&O staff members before boarding.
