The Stena Line Express is a fastcraft capable of travelling at a speed of up to 40 knots on the stretch between Denmark and Sweden. The facilities on this ship are on all located on 1 deck and include a bar, self-service restaurant, a coffee shop, a kids play area and a shop.
Due to the short crossing, there are no available cabins on the Stena Line Express but if you want to arrive all relaxed then book a reserved seat in the Stena Plus Lounge. In addition to a comfortable seat during your trip you also get priority boarding.
The C-View bar has the best position on the ship - right at the front, enabling passengers to enjoy the marvellous view through the panoramic windows while enjoying a cold drink. This is also the place to head to for a quick bite to eat with plenty of tasty snacks on offer.
There’s a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes at the Food City buffet though you’ll need to book a table in advance to be sure to get a seat for the duration of the crossing.
At the Café Barista you can relax while enjoying a freshly ground coffee with a choice of snacks.
During the crossing you can shop to your heart's content in the Stena shop. Here’s where you’ll find genuine bargains and a wide variety of brands, from paperbacks to the latest perfumes.
There is a baggage store facility at the information desk where you can also purchase WiFi cards.
There is a children’s play area located next to the Food City self service restaurant where children can play and watch films.
Wheel chair bound passengers have access to all facilities. Please report to the Stena Line staff on arrival at the port so they can tend to your needs and assign a parking space on the car deck close to the lift.
Please Note: Whilst we have taken great care in making our Stena Line Express guide as accurate as possible, onboard facilities, services and entertainment may vary depending on the date and time of year that you travel, facilities mentioned may change without notification and ferry companies reserve the right to operate vessels other than those mentioned at time of booking without prior notification.

"Very good service, efficient and safe as always."
I found the service safe and efficient, I travelled with Stena Line, this summer and also between Rostock and Trelleborg, in both cases I was completely satisfied, the beds were really comfortable, and the arrival time was respected.

"The Right Honorable Lord Review - is this a good enought title?"
Boarding was quick and easy, kids given free coke toys! Ship clean and comfortable. Didn't use any catering. Only problem was the number of smokers on the only outer deck. You couldn't sit anywhere in fresh air, without some people killing us all early with their white sticks of death and foul foul stench of cigarette fumes. Smoking should be outlawed.

"Ferry Frederikshavn-Gothenburg Jutlandica "
The outward journey 3.5 hours from 3:15 clock was very strenuous, there were no or few comfortable chairs. Most of the passengers were at the same not very clean floor, which was not very pleasant. Moreover, the food offered was more poor and expensive. I would recommend anyone to bring your own drinks and food. The return trip with the Express was perfect, here is everything on offer including refreshments and sufficiently convenient place. I would always take in the future to express, even if it is more expensive.

Perfect trip in typical Nordic style - left on time, nice ship with all amenities needed for the crossing, nothing to complain about. Gothenburg was picturesque too!
