"Don't pay for meals before"
Nowhere was it explained that we needed to carry our paper ticket with us to meals to show we paid upfront (we had the printed ticket and 4 other tickets we got dockside-very confusing). Even when we did the cashier complained it wasn't like the tickets he usually gets. Other than that our trip was uneventful and easy.

"Comfortable voyage to start the holiday"
We travelled as a family of two adults and two teenage children as foot passengers. At Naples the system of getting the boarding card from the prebooked tickets was simple once we found the building, though this wasn't that easy to find in the large dock area and was a short walk away from the boarding area. However the ship and staff were welcoming from the outset with good escalators to get up to the hotel like reception area to pick up our room key. We were all very pleased with the size and comfort of the room & beds including a good shower. Big lounge area with some live entertainment but get in early as those without rooms "booked" many of the sofa's and were sleeping over them from fairly early on. Very easy process for getting off the ship at 7.00am, 30 mins after docking. A great start to our short time in Sicily.

"Great crossing "
We really enjoyed our night crossing from Palermo to Naples. The ferry was clean, staff were very helpful, we dined at the restaurant which was delicious and our cabin was perfect. It's a great way to travel and to wake up in the early morning seeing Naples appear.

"Couldn't Have Gone Any Smoother"
Wanted to change from a indoor cabin to a cabin with an ocean view.Made arrangements at the departure desk. Paid an additional fee(which was explained with the terms). The ferry was clean and well maintained as was our room. The food was great and priced reasonably. The staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend.

"Tirana ferry from Napoli to palermo"
My wife and I travelled on the overnight ferry with our motorhome and were pleased with all aspects of the onboard experience. The only complaint that we would have is that the check in procedure was a bit chaotic. We had problems finding the ticket desk mainly because there was nowhere to park or even stop in the motorhome inside the dock. We eventually managed to get back out of the dock, parked in the street and walked back into the port to find the terminal.

"Round-trip Naples-Palermo on Tirrenia"
We were very satisfied with our trip. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Staff were professional and the vessel sailed on time on both legs of the trip. It might help if online information from Tirrenia could pinpoint the location of their offices in Naples and Palermo. Taxis brought us to the boarding point at the vessel, but then we had to backtrack to the steamship offices to present our reservation and get the actual ticket enabling us to board. Also, the staff in the restaurant tend to want to hurry you out and shut the facility down, when there is no apparent reason for this. The vessels sail at 8:15 PM, so there is no need to close the restaurant so early when the vessel sails all night. All in all we would recommend Tirrenia.

"Great way to get to Sicily!"
This was my first time taking a ferry of any kind and I have to say I was impressed with the passenger areas of the ship! It was clean and very comfortable. My only complaints are the beds are not comfortable and the water in the shower was scalding hot and I was unable to get it to a temperature where I could let it run over me for more than a few seconds. However, this was a very cheap way to travel, the crew was very nice, the food was good enough and traveling by sea is still a wonderful experience!

Impressed by the overall quality and comfort. We had a cabin when setting over from Naples to Palermo by foot. So I cannot commend on embarking and disembarking with a car. Interestingly they had only one lift available for people who cannot use an escalator.

We were travelling on our motorbike and had booked a cabin on-line before our holiday. We knew that we had to go to check-in for tickets, but on arrival at the Port we were directed to the departure area by 2 different Port Officers (who didn't speak any English) even though we showed them a printout of our confirmation, asking for directions. We followed the traffic and arrived at the ferry only to be told that we couldn't board the boat as we didn't have a ticket! We were eventually directed to the Ticket Office(which was right next to the original check-in point!), got our tickets and boarded the Ferry with no further problems. This aside, the Ferry was very clean with good facilities and our cabin beds were comfortable. The staff were polite and extremely helpful and we had a lovely meal in the Restaurant. I would certainly use Tirrenia again.

Not sure what we were getting ourselves into when we booked this...but so happy that we did. Amazing that the bottom of the ship was a container ship (loading trucks and cars) and the upstairs where we were was a cruise ship. Room was a typical cruise ship room with a shower, all very clean. Restaurant was good and a very large bar area. We arrived rested, showered and ready to go when we arrived in Naples without wasting any daylight hours travelling. We would book this trip again.

My husband and I had an excellent crossing from Palermo to Naples with Tirrenia on the Florio. Our embarking and departing was very easy with no long queues. Facilities on the boat were excellent. Our cabin, which was set up to accommodate 4 people, was roomy with a good space between the beds and even drawers. The hot water system in the bathroom for a shower was marvellous. Selection of food available was very good.

"Palermo to Napoli crossing"
Apart from arriving at the wrong side of the port, thanks to our poor language skills & limited bus service on Saturday, it was a good experience. We were taken across the port on free shuttle, directed to ticket office & easily found our way on board. The staff on board are friendly and it was well organised. Food & drinks were fairly expensive compared to the land prices, however their was choice & the food in bistro was adequate. Having a cabin to go to with comfortable beds & a shower made the crossing very easy indeed - I've done it before without a cabin & would never do that again. The €50 was absolutely worthwhile. We were able to have a full day in Palermo, enjoy dinner & a good nights sleep and leave the ship showered, refreshed & ready for a full day in Napoli.

"From the heart of Naples to the heart of Palermo in style"
What a great way to get from the heart of Naples to the heart of Palermo in style. We are a couple, we booked the two berth cabin. The company unexpectedly put us on a sea view cabin... that was just the start. Then we managed to watch two of the soccer world cup enjoying some snacks in the comfort of the boat. We had a great and comfortable sleep, to the point that we didn't want to arrive to Palermo on time to keep enjoying the trip. Surprisingly enough, the trip costed us 120 Euro for the two people, the same of what we would have paid for a night accommodation in a hotel. Highly recommended.

The trip was great… and absolutely punctual…. We slept in the seats, although we think that a cabin would have been more confortable. The only negative is that it's very cold during the night, so you should bring a blanked and dress warmly… Enjoy your trip...

"Sevice on board"
Our trip between Palermo and Napoli was good but i want to complain for 2 tings as a first caustemer. One is the organization before boarding with my car was not so well organized and the second one was that when i booked the tickets they told me is all inclusive but when i went on board they told me that for the food i have to pay that was int so correct for me. Hope for the next time i use this company this things are better sorted. Many thanks regards Anthony.

It was well organised. We were surprised by the elegance of the facilities (the bar, the restaurant, etc.). The cabin is basic, but clean, however, there is no cold water in the bathroom. The staff is available and kind.
