The Library is available for hire for filming only. Designed in 1874, this is the largest antiquarian library in the country. With it’s double-height soaring columns and original bookcases it has often been used as a location by leading film and television companies and can provide the perfect historic interior for your filming needs.

Filming in The Library is restricted and can only take place outside normal opening hours or at weekends. All the other rooms at the society can be used for filming during normal hours.
